Google认为Red Hat的RHEL 6企业发行版已经过时，宣布Google Chrome不再为RHEL 6提供更新。Red Hat的EMEA Evangelist Jan Wildeboer在Google+上发布了一张截图（如图），显示通知"因为你的操作系统已经过时Google Chrome不再更新"。Red Hat的企业发行版为了长期的稳定性而几年才会更新一次。Wildeboer认为Google此举是迫使用户改用其它浏览器。
