Windows 8可能刺激对触摸式笔记本需求

根据市场研究公司DisplaySearch分析报告，触摸屏笔记本电脑普及率2012年在3％以下，但在2013年预计将增长到12％以上。与此相比，触摸屏在手机和平板电脑当中的普及率分别在77％和100％。
和传统的翻盖设计相比，Windows 8笔记本电脑，采用翻转和变形，触摸的瓷砖设计用户界面，来吸引用户。根据DisplaySearch表示，触摸屏厂商和PC厂商都在仔细考虑Windows 8触摸屏笔记本电脑如何才能取得市场成功，但是，目前触摸屏模块提升Windows 8笔记本电脑成本，并且难以进行大批量生产。
DisplaySearch表示，当消费者考虑购买带触摸屏功能的笔记本电脑，考虑更多的是价格因素，而非功能因素，如果价格可以充分下降，那么触摸屏笔记本电脑预估年内有2亿台市场份额，并且将推动大尺寸触摸屏笔记本电脑普及。
