法国终止失踪成人搜索，建议搜索Facebook

法国政府发表声明宣布终止有百年历史的失踪成人搜索，不再接受新的失踪搜寻请求，除非有明确的迹象显示失踪者处于危险之中。这一改变于周五生效。搜寻失踪未成年人的政策没有改变。法国内政部在一封给警察局长的信中提议在社交网络上搜寻失踪成人，表示或许能得到有趣的发现。有人认为，与儿童不同，成年人应该有权失踪，然后开始崭新的生活。除非涉及违法行为，否则警察不应该花纳税人的钱搜寻不想被寻找到的人。
