RC版本中对深度桌面环境、深度软件中心、深度音乐播放器、深度影音播放器等进行了更新。同时，RC版本基础软件仓库也升级到Ubuntu Raring，系统内核版本升级到3.8系列。但因基础软件仓库升级，Beta版本用户无法直接平滑升级到RC版本。在默认软件方面：预装Google Chrome网页浏览器，同时也提供Firefox网络浏览器；Pidgin成为默认 IM 工具；预装WPS for Linux Beta版本；预装 Skype。
Linux Deepin 12.12正式版本原定于2012年12月底发布，因团队开发独立的桌面环境，致使正式版发布延迟，期待12.12正式版本快些到来。"
