鼠标之父辞世：1968年首次展示首款鼠标

网易科技讯 7月4日消息，据国外媒体报道，被誉为"鼠标之父"的道格·恩格尔巴特（Doug Engelbart）于昨日去世，享年88岁。


恩格尔巴特被认为是计算机鼠标的发明者。此外，他在斯坦福研究院担任研究员时，还创造了很多其他发明。
1968年时，恩格尔巴特曾在一个被称为"创新之源"（mother of all demos）的展会上展出了自己的研究成果。他的成果准确预测了未来计算机发展的趋势。



很多人在Twitter上表达了对恩格尔巴特悼念。
软件工程师、发明家Mitch Kapor在Twitter上表示，恩格尔巴特是"他的一位偶像，我们所有在计算机领域的成就都应归功于他。"
未来学者Paul Saffo则称，恩格尔巴特"整个一生都领先于他的时代。"（亚比）
