维基媒体基金会终于开始向英文版维基百科注册登陆用户开放所见即所得可视化编辑器VisualEditor。经典维基百科编辑器wikitext仍然保留，可继续用于编辑条目，维基基金会表示没有计划移除旧的编辑器，因为VisualEditor还不支持wikitext允许的所有功能。维基基金会指出，虽然会有部分编辑志愿者愿意继续使用wikitext，但它希望大部分用户能转到VisualEditor。This entry passed through the Full-Text RSS service — if this is your content and you're reading it on someone else's site, please read the FAQ at fivefilters.org/content-only/faq.php#publishers.
