科学家称鲸鱼耳屎有助研究其繁殖及环境污染

　　中新网9月24日电 据外媒报道，美国科学家说，从鲸鱼的耳屎可以追查出鲸鱼的爱情生活和人类对环境的污染。
　　得州贝勒大学研究人员分析了7年前在加州外海，遭船撞死后冲上岸的一头蓝鲸的耳垢。研究人员说，蓝鲸的耳垢跟树的年轮一样都是成长的纪录。鲸鱼没有外耳，听觉器官主要是头部的一条听道。耳垢就藏在听道和头部一个小开口的中间。
　　研究人员说，蓝鲸的耳垢一年累积约2公分(厘米)，这头蓝鲸有25.4公分的耳垢，也就是说有12岁大。
　　他们从蓝鲸的睪丸素堆积判断出，蓝鲸是公的，大约10岁的时候到达生育年龄。
　　蓝鲸前6个月的耳垢里有大批现在已经禁止使用的杀虫剂。他们分析这些杀虫剂残留是母鲸哺育幼鲸的时候传过去的。
　　蓝鲸是濒临绝种的动物，也是世界最重的动物，可以长到30米长，重150吨，是40头象的重量。蓝鲸的心脏跟小汽车一样大，胃里可以容纳2吨的小鱼、小虾。
