谷歌10月底将推出智能手表Gem

【TechWeb报道】10月7日消息，据外媒Phonearena报道，科技网站Android Police联合创始人Artem Russakovskii日前表示，在本月末的谷歌发布会上，谷歌将推出一款代号为Gem的智能手表。
而从之前的传闻来看，谷歌会在月底发布Android 4.4 KitKat系统、Nexus 5手机以及Nexus 10平板。

但是，Artem Russakovskii并未透露这款手表的外观和具体配置，他表示虽然现在还没有照片和实物作为证据，但自己对此非常确信，并会继续通过Google Plus放出消息。
关于智能手表的竞争在巨头间愈发激烈，此前，三星已经推出Galaxy Gear手表。不过，从外界的反应来看，它并未掀起太大波澜，甚至有人批评其一塌糊涂，根本不值得购买。
此外，有消息称，摩托罗拉也曾开发过一款名为xWatch的智能手表产品，而现在摩托罗拉已经是谷歌的子公司，而xWatch很有可能已经被谷歌纳入自身产品规划中。
