根据AllThingsD获得的雅虎内部备忘录，雅虎负责通讯产品的高级副总裁Jeff Bonforte和首席信息官Randy Roumillat在信中呼吁雇员使用公司自家的电子邮件产品Yahoo Mail。他们指出，只有四分之一的雅虎雇员使用Yahoo Mail作为办公通讯，称使用自家的产品事关原则，呼吁剩下四分之三的雇员是时候切换到Yahoo Mail。雅虎雇员仍然首选微软的邮件客户端Outlook，备忘录将MS Outlook描述为上世纪末PC时代的残余，现在已经不合潮流了，称Yahoo Mail功能非常的丰富和强大。
