芯片设计师从比特币采矿中看到了赚钱良机



Ravi Iyengar第一次听说比特币是在六个月前，之后他辞掉了三星电子的高级芯片架构师的工作，筹集到150万美元创办矿机硬件制造公司CoinTerra，他至今已经预售出了价值超过500万美元的硬件。他说，半导体行业的军备竞赛强度完全赶不上比特币采矿，比特币采矿的一个月就相当于半导体行业的一年。矿工们现在已经认识到，真正赚到大钱的不是他们而是矿机制造商。CoinTerra相信，未来三年比特币采矿芯片上的投入预算每年很容易就能突破1亿美元。目前比特币网络共挖出1100万BTC，据最近的币值计算约24亿美元。未来三年比特币网络预计每年能挖出140万BTC，根据目前币值相当于每年2.8亿美元。
