芯片制造商AMD任命新的首席财务官

网易科技讯 1月2日消息，据国外媒体报道，AMD周三宣布，任命公司高管戴文德·库马尔(Devinder Kumar)为公司首席财务官（CFO）。去年9月，AMD宣布该公司前首席财务官托马斯·斯弗特(Thomas Siefert)已离职。
库马尔已在AMD工作28年，在AMD宣布斯弗特离职后，库马尔一直担任AMD的临时首席财务官。
自2001年以来，库马尔担任AMD的法人主管。随着智能手机和平板电脑日益普及，像其他与个人电脑相关的公司一样，AMD一直受到市场需求低迷的困扰。
AMD是硅谷历史最悠久的芯片制造商之一，由于面临着现金储备的不断减少，该公司近几年一直在不断裁减员工，同时为其芯片产品寻找新的市场。
