Google悄悄收购了Android智能手表制造商WIMM Labs，时间是在一年之前，搜索巨人正摩拳擦掌准备推出自己的智能手表产品。WIMM Labs在2011年11月发布了基于Android 2.1的智能手表WIMM One。几个月后它就关闭了，只在官网上留下一段声明，宣布停售产品，表示公司团队参与了一个机密项目。现在，GigaOM报导，WIMM Labs事实上是被Google收购了，并已经合并到Android团队，WIMM Labs的一些雇员已经更新了他们的Linkedin 履历。Google的智能手表项目可能比人们预计的进展更快。
