官方媒体报道，中国成功研制世界首台拟态计算机。但所谓的"拟态计算机"是何物网络上几乎找不到任何说明，甚至相关论文都没有。
报导称，项目负责人中国工程院院士邬江兴教授表示，基于普通结构的高性能计算机虽然运算速度惊人，但其实用效能不足10%，因为运算过程仅使用单一计算结构处理所有应用问题。邬江兴院士及其团队提出拟态计算新理论。拟态计算的灵感来源于生活在东南亚海域的拟态章鱼，该章鱼为了适应环境可以模拟至少十五种动物。与一般的计算机"结构固定不变、靠软件编程计算"不同，拟态计算机可针对用户不同的应用需求，通过改变自身结构提高效能，测试表明，拟态计算机比一般计算机可提升十几倍到上百倍。邬江兴院士认为："基于拟态计算的体系结构是中国科学家原创的计算机结构，很可能成为改变'游戏规则'的变革性技术，开创高效能计算机体系结构发展的新方向。"This entry passed through the Full-Text RSS service — if this is your content and you're reading it on someone else's site, please read the FAQ at fivefilters.org/content-only/faq.php#publishers.
