NASA在iPad上发布了两本免费iBook电子书（如果没有iPad，可以在电脑上浏览两本书的PDF版本），一本以哈勃太空望远镜为主角，另一本则是讲述哈勃继任者詹姆斯·韦伯太空望远镜的未来使命。电子书结合图片、视频和互动内容讲述了两大望远镜背后的科学和工程技术（下载1，2，大小都在100MB以上）。
