刘强民 写道 "PRISM计划泄密者Snowden的父亲Lonnie Snowden在NBC的"Today"节目上表示，如果美国司法部承诺审判前不予拘禁并不发布言论限制令，他的儿子可能会自愿回国接受审判。Snowden的父亲认为他的儿子背叛了美国政府，但是没有背叛美国人民。他相信自己的儿子现在被Wikileaks操纵，并为此担心，因为他认为Wikileaks只关心尽可能多地泄密，而不在意美国宪法。另外，厄瓜多尔官员表示因为俄罗斯政府的阻挠，Snowden的政治避难申请未能正常进行。俄国政府拒绝Snowden离开莫斯科的请求，并且强调Snowden在法律上尚未进入俄国国境。"
