一项新研究发现，个人兴趣驱动的刻苦学习和高效的学习策略，而不是IQ，最能大幅提高数学能力。
研究人员分析了超过3500名德国学生，发现如果他们富有上进心和善于使用高效学习策略，那么五年级的中间水平学生到八年级时能跳跃到第63百分位（指的是成绩得分超过63%的考生）。领导这项研究的UCLA心理学家Kou Murayama说，数学成绩的提高可以通过动机和学习策略预测，而IQ则没有表现出此类的影响。
