三四年前的一项研究发现，如果你想学习英语，一个快捷的方法看配有英文字幕的美剧/英剧。许多人也许会尝试过，但可能会因难而退，因为看到不认识的单词再去查字典实在是影响观影体验。现在一个新的教育软件将播放器和字典合二为一，帮助你学习英语。Fleex是基于VLC的免费软件，能自动同步字幕；适应不同难度，比如说困难的部分用母语展示，简单的部分用英语展示，先易后难；可随时暂停，显示双语字幕和即时翻译。程序目前只支持Windows ，未来会支持OS X，开发者现阶段关注的是英文，毕竟地球上有20亿人学习英语。
