ARM宣布收购芬兰物联网软件开发商Sensinode

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间8月27日下午消息，据美国科技博客TechCrunch报道，英国芯片设计公司ARM今天宣布，该公司将收购芬兰物联网软件开发商Sensinode，但并未披露具体交易条款。
　　ARM表示，收购完成以后，将继续向现有和新客户销售Sensinode NanoStack和NanoService产品。目前，ARM正谋求向智能手机和平板电脑芯片市场以外的领域发展。
　　去年，ARM宣布任职12年的CEO沃伦·伊斯特(Warren East)辞职，由公司总裁西蒙·希加斯(Simon Segars)接任CEO一职。ARM当时强调，它正以长远的目光审视公司的未来发展道路。ARM还暗示，将开拓移动市场以外的领域。
　　ARM称，Sensinode是"低成本、低功耗联网设备软件开发领域的先驱之一，对IoT开放标准的发展做出了重大贡献"，这些标准包括6LoWPAN和CoAP等。这也是ARM公司历史第二笔收购，第一笔收购更多是出于战略上的考虑：在2011年收购了纳米技术软件工具开发商Prolific。(清辰)
