联想成立全新美洲部门强化拉美业务

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间2月8日晚间消息，联想发言人周五证实，公司将成立一个全新的美洲部门来强化拉美市场业务。
　　联想周五在发送给员工的内部邮件中称，从4月1日起，联想北美总裁格里·史密斯(Gerry Smith)将负责新成立的这个规模更大的美洲部门。
　　联想发言人杰弗里·谢弗(Jeffrey Shafer)已确认了该消息。此前，联想拉美业务与亚太业务并未分开，统一由米尔科·范·杜伊吉(Milko van Duijl)领导。
　　业内人士称，新成立的美洲部门有利于推动业务运营，因南美员工无需再配合处于不同时区的亚洲管理者的决定。
　　联想在电子邮件中称："此次地域上的调整让我们所有的管理者和他们的团队管理起来更轻松、更高效。我们相信，这一调整将极大地提升工作效率。"
　　联想CFO黄伟明在1月30日的分析师电话会议上曾表示，第三季度亚太和拉美业务营收下滑1.6%，其中拉美和巴西占据了绝大部分。(李明)
