iOS 6.1 才推出了两个星期左右，但 Apple 已经刚刚推出 6.1.1 了。很奇怪吗？也不太吧，这是一个相对小的升级，针对着 iPhone 4S 而设，内容集中除去一个会影响手机行动通讯表现和稳定性的问题；其他型号的 iPhone 和 iPod touch 并没有收到更新的通知。可是更新内容清单中并没有改善电池续航力的一项，似乎 4S 的用户依然要暂忍受一下 iOS 6.1 对续航力的影响了。传闻指出它将会随着 6.2 推出，这个版本亦可能为日本带来更好的 Apple Maps 支援。
