微软将推多款Windows 8设备刺激市场需求

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间2月5日上午消息，微软将在未来两个月中推出来自惠普、宏碁和其他厂商的新款Windows 8设备。此前，由于采用该系统的平板电脑和触摸屏设备种类不多，Windows 8发布初期的表现受到了不利影响。
　　惠普一款Envy系列的平板电脑和笔记本跨界产品已开始接受预订，价格为849.99美元。而宏碁将推出一款499美元的10英寸平板电脑。Windows Research主管艾丹·马库斯(Aidan Marcuss)表示，华硕将推出一款可变形平板电脑，重量略大于1.5磅(约合680克)，并配备两块电池，提供19小时的电池续航时间。
　　在微软10月26日发布Windows 8之后，由于芯片供应的缺货，以及微软对Windows 8设备硬件的限制导致采用该系统的平板电脑种类很少。微软希望凭借Windows 8平板电脑挑战iPad和Android平板电脑，重新赢回用户，因此微软的硬件合作伙伴能否推出具有吸引力的触摸屏设备至关重要。
　　对于Windows 8设备的市场需求，微软Windows部门CFO塔米·莱勒(Tami Reller)表示："我不担心用户对Windows 8设备的认知度，也不担心用户是否有兴趣。对于将这种兴趣转化为用户可以在货架上找到的商品，我越来越乐观。"
　　惠普执行副总裁托德·布拉德利(Todd Bradley)上月表示，Windows 8最初阶段的销量弱于许多人的预期。莱勒表示，目前已有约2000款设备经过了Windows 8的认证，较Windows 8发布时增长了一倍。
　　新款设备
　　在去年10月Windows 8发布时，业内人士还担心，Windows 8生态系统中缺乏采用英特尔最新低功耗芯片Clover Trail的产品。马库斯表示，到12月初，美国市场只有两款采用Clover Trail芯片的产品在销售，而销量也很低。惠普、宏碁和华硕的新产品均瞄准消费类市场，并采用了Clover Trail芯片，这将带来更长的电池续航时间。
　　联想则推出了ThinkPad Tablet 2，瞄准企业市场。这款产品拥有10小时的电池续航时间，售价为699美元，将于本月开售。微软还计划推出集成触控功能的廉价笔记本，因为Windows 8的最新设计以触控操作为中心。
　　莱勒表示，微软今年春季不会发布采用Windows RT系统的新产品。微软仍将致力于确保此前发布的Windows RT产品有足够的供货量。而微软的合作伙伴之一三星则决定不在美国销售Windows RT平板电脑。
　　选择有限
　　高通的芯片已被用在多款Windwos RT平板电脑中。高通CEO保罗·雅克布(Paul Jacobs)表示，微软对硬件厂商的限制导致市面上可选择的产品很少。上周他在接受采访时称，对于Windows 8设备的需求疲软，高通并不感到惊讶。高通此前的谨慎预期已体现了这一点。
　　雅克布表示："只有很有限的厂商被允许参与开发，我认为这削弱了在产品尺寸和其他方面的竞争。"他同时表示，他对高通芯片应用在计算机中的长期前景表示乐观，并表示将继续对业务进行投资。
　　莱勒表示，相对于采用Windows RT系统的产品，未来采用Windows 8系统的平板电脑可能会更多。他表示："我们将逐渐扩大规模，但目前我们专注于确保当前产品的供货及商业上的成功。短期内我们将专注于这一方面。"他拒绝透露最新的销售数据。(维金)
