PNG已超GIF成为最流行互联网图片格式

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间2月1日下午消息，国外科技网站W3Techs的最新调查显示，PNG现已超越GIF，成为最受欢迎的互联网图像文件格式。
　　数据显示，目前多达62.4%的网站都采用PNG格式，令其以微小优势领先于GIF格式(份额为62.3%)。而就在一年前，GIF的份额还比PNG多出15%。
　　虽然我们以前提到的GIF专利问题早已得到解决，但由于PNG在技术上更胜一筹，所以相比于GIF格式，它现在更受网络管理员们的欢迎。通常情况下，用PNG格式制作的图像文件更小，同时还支持更为广泛的颜色深度及透明度选项。
　　GIF唯一占优的功能是，它支持动画。但大多数人发现，网站上的GIF图标看上去好像15年来从未更新过。现如今，动画主要用于广告。
　　令人感兴趣的是，在1000家流量最大的网站上，GIF仍然比PNG更受欢迎，份额之比为67.9%和66.3%，但这种情况可能会在未来几个月发生改变，因为目前的趋势很明显：从GIF 向PNG转换的网站数量，是从PNG向GIF的网站数量的三倍。
　　另外，在不同的地区，网站采用PNG格式的比率也大相径庭。在法国、意大利、西班牙和荷兰等欧洲国家，PNG的使用率超过了70%，但在亚洲却少得多，日本为41%，韩国为34.6%，中国为30.6%。
　　同时，使用Unix类开源系统的用户要比Windows用户更推崇PNG格式，而谷歌更是这种图像文件格式的忠实拥趸，在谷歌旗下各类服务器中，PNG的使用率竟然高达95.6%。
　　GIF图像格式由CompuServe在25年前开发，是互联网发展早期一项非常重要的标准。GIF可能还会存在25年，但遗憾的是，它现在已失去了最流行图像文件格式的桂冠。(扬帆)
