传时代公司本周裁员：规模或达700人

　　新浪科技讯 北京时间1月28日午间消息，据科技博客AllThingsD报道，知情人士透露，全球最大杂志发行商时代公司本周可能展开大幅裁员。
　　虽然目前还不清楚具体裁员规模，但本月早些时候有媒体预测，这家拥有8000名员工的公司将裁员700人。时代公司的很多员工也认同这一预测。
　　倘若果真如此，就将超过时代公司2008年的裁员规模，时任CEO的安·摩尔(Ann Moore)当时裁员600人。那一轮裁员以及后来的成本压缩帮助时代公司在杂志行业萎缩的情况下保持盈利。
　　但该公司的收入仍在不断下滑：时代公司去年第三季度实现收入8.4亿美元，远低于2008年的11亿美元。与此同时，其母公司时代华纳仍在向有线电视集团企业发展。
　　时代公司新CEO劳拉·郎(Laura Lang)已经掌舵一年，并且带领该公司探索了一些新的收入来源，包括数字交易。她去年还与苹果达成协议，通过iTunes商店出售iPad订阅服务。
