苹果上周从应用商店下架了iOS平台最后一个可用于支付的比特币钱包应用Blockchain后，比特币用户发起了抗议行动。在Reddit社区，有用户发帖宣布（帐号和帖子已被删除），如果有人能销毁手中的 iPhone 5或5s，并公开视频为证，他将向他们赠送一部全新的Nexus 5手机。至少用五名Reddit用户砸掉了他们的iPhone 5。过去一年，苹果拒绝或下架了多款比特币应用，但没有给出为何拒绝比特币的具体理由。
