新浪上周五表示，该公司因涉嫌传播淫秽色情信息被处以510万罚款，同时互联网出版许可证和信息网络传播视听节目许可证将被吊销。互联网出版许可证已从新浪首页移除，但信息网络传播视听节目许可证目前仍然保留。新浪表示，被查出的淫秽色情信息来自第三方或用户发布在读书频道和新浪网上的内容，称正在配合政府的工作。新浪上周早些时候在监管文件中披露，两个许可证被吊销可能意味着公司要么停止网络阅读和视频服务，要么寻找拥有相应牌照的商业伙伴，通过合作的方式提供这些服务。
